Mindfulness and meditation can help you respond to life, rather than react to it.

Smooth seas do not make skillful sailors. - African proverb

Farrah Fritz sitting on a wooden bridge

I have twenty-five years of lived experience managing a severe mental health condition. Forced to find a path through the difficulties I faced, I discovered mindfulness and meditation. These skills helped me find inner peace and calm, a whole new way to live in this world.

From dealing with stress to improving concentration, learning self-compassion and acceptance, these practices can make a significant shift in the way you relate to your experiences. You can learn to welcome the difficulties because you know they will make you stronger.

I found mindfulness and meditation to be life-changing, and so I completed a teacher training program to offer Koru Mindfulness to my community. I have a B.A. in Psychology with a minor in Linguistics and an M.A. in Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences, both from the University of Colorado at Boulder. I also draw upon fifteen years of experience with mindfulness and meditation. I am passionate about sharing these tools with you and guiding you to find a path of peace in the busyness of daily living.
